Grandma Laura turns 90 - still going strong.

I flew down for the weekend, visiting Laura as well as Harry and Jane. Went to the Pleasanton Satellite Horse Racing facility today with Harry and Jane and left with 100%+ profit - it was a lot of fun.

Laura had Tom and Monica down as well, plus all of Marylou’s kids. Linda treated the entire gang to a big dinner last night at Cattlemans. I hadn't seen some of Marylou’s kids for at least 20 years, since I was a teenager. Most seem to be well off. Susan has found a good career as a Surgical Technician and was telling all sorts of gross stories - sounds like she is having lots of fun. Laura still has a house full, Marylou, Debra, Gene, Billy and Linda's son Anthony (plus a half dozen cats and an old Chihuahua. I think having the energy around keeps Laura young, but it's hard for me to see the disaster that it brings to the house. Most everyone does seem to help out in their own way; Debra cooks and has make the yard beautiful, Marylou and Gene seem to work in the house and Anthony really is a nice helpful young man. I've said my goodbyes to all, and will leave the Lindsey's at 4:30am to catch my 7:00am flight. I will go directly from Seatac to work tomorrow. - TLF Posted by Picasa
